Today we are reviewing Maybelline New York fit me concealer. The product belongs to the bestselling Fit me range of Maybelline which covers foundation, powder, blush, stick foundation among others. The concealer is raved about all over the internet and many beauty bloggers along with others have been enjoying the product since it has been launched.
Although the US market has 12 super saturated shades, our Indian market only carries 4 of them. They are 10 light, 25 medium, 20-sand, and Cafe-30.

It is light to medium coverage concealer with saturated pigments to cover dark circles. The concealer tube has a sleek design. The tube is sturdy and looks great in black (top part) and transparent tube from where you can easily see the product. When you open the tube, it has standard doe-foot applicator which is also slim and makes application easy.
The body of the tube has the name of the product- Maybelline New York while the cap has the range name mentioned- fit me concealer. The base of the tube has the name and shade number printed on it. Overall the tube is small and easy to carry in your makeup bag.

It has medium to buildable coverage which can easily cover dark spots and acne/pimple blemishes. The doe-foot applicator makes the application easy as it can reach the inner corner of the eyes perfectly. The concealer is creamy in texture and can be directly applied with the doe-foot applicator and then blended with a beauty sponge or a concealer brush effectively.
It doesn’t crease into the fine lines under the eyes although you have to set it with powder for long wearing. It can stay put for 5-6 hours, after that you can see the concealer settling into the fine lines and wrinkles. It sets matte, so it is best for oily skin type.
The concealer is good for achieving medium to buildable coverage. It can easily cover dark spots, acne, pimples or blemishes. It is great for brightening under eyes. With saturated pigmentation, it is suitable for normal to oily skin. At Rs.475 it is reasonable and affordable to suit for every budget.
The fit me concealer is non-comedogenic, dermatologist tested and ophthalmologist-tested. Also, it is formulated without any oils or waxes.
The only downside of this product is the shade range (4 shades). Our duskier beauties cannot enjoy this product at all. It won’t work for deeper or sunken dark circles. It can crease if applied with a heavy hand. Also, the product packaging doesn’t mention its ingredients, expiry date, etc. which are important because all makeup product has a definitive use date.
How To Use
Apply in dot format under the eyes or make an inverted triangle starting from inner corner of the eyes coming straight down till the nose and making an angle to reach the outer corner of the eyes and filling inside the triangle.
After application of the concealer, blend it with the help of a beauty sponge or a concealer brush. For the longer stay of the concealer and crease-free look, lock it with loose powder for flawless makeup.
