How To Make Makeup Removing Wipes At Home?

Now the market is filled with plenty of makeup removers and also available in various forms such as liquid, balms, spray, towels, etc. some of them must be your Holy Grail makeup remover and there is no turning around from that particular product.

But these makeup removers sometimes contain harsh chemicals like apply makeup wasn’t enough for our skin.

Also, the market does have organic makeup remover which contains coconut oil or some other natural ingredient to soothe your face but these makeup removers are super expensive and using them on daily basis can burn a hole in your pockets.

So, here we are giving you a recipe to make your own homemade makeup removing wipes.

Things You Will Need


1 glass jar or an airtight container of 1-4 ounce
Organic cotton pads (preferably the same shape as your container)
3-5 drops essential oil such as lavender, tea tree oil (use as per your skin type)
3 tsp Witch hazel
1 tsp Baby shampoo
2 tablespoons coconut oil or olive oil


How To Make Wet Wipes?

Clean the jar by dipping it in hot water for sterilization. Let it air dry.

Use a container to mix coconut oil, baby shampoo, witch hazel and your choice of the essential oil. Mix well.

Place the cotton pads in the jar.

Pour the liquid mixture over the cotton pads making sure it is evenly distributed on the cotton pads.

Voila! You just made makeup wipes at home, helping you save a lot of money.
